Alien invasions would be one. I should say hostile alien invasion. Such as a V senario.

Waking up and finding yourself surrounded by the living dead, or zoombies.

Being an enemy of the state like Will Smith in that movie, and being followed everywhere you do.

Marrying the wrong person. (I think this one takes the cake.) LOL.
